Experience- Christie is the top agent at New York Life. In 2016, Christie was awarded the title of Council President, and is recognized as the #1 agent in the company. In 2015 she was named Council Vice President, the #2 agent in the company. This back-to-back recognition last occurred in 1985.

She has been featured on the covers of magazines including Washington CEO in connection with an article about “Million Dollar Women”, Life Insurance Selling Magazine about her successful strategies on retirement planning for baby boomers, and The NYLIC Review. She was a finalist for the “Nellie Cashman”, the prestigious Women Business Owner of the Year award presented by the Seattle Women Business Owners Association. In 2013 Christie was one of 14 national financial professionals spotlighted in the book “Retirement Income Masters” written by Tom Hegna.
Before joining New York Life in 1985, Christie worked as a television news anchor and reporter for ten years at CBS television stations on the west coast. During that time, she won a news and documentary Emmy for her breaking news story about flooding in Portland, Oregon.
She is a graduate of the University of California Santa Barbara with a degree in English Literature. Born in Des Moines, Iowa and raised in Southern California, Christie now lives in a waterfront home on Lake Washington, just a short commute to her offices in Renton and Bellevue, WA.
